Tuition Overview

I am a highly experienced teacher and former examiner for GCSE English Language, specialising in supporting learners who need a specific grade to access their next steps in education, as well as neurodivergent and SEND learners, and those who thrive with a calm, confidence-building approach.

GCSE English Language tuition focuses on deep analysis of texts, alongside high‑quality teaching in creative and transactional writing. Learners will have opportunities to engage with whole texts and rich discussions to support authentic analysis. Learners will develop clarity, purpose, and craft in their writing, supported by targeted work on vocabulary, spelling, punctuation, and grammar.

I am pleased to offer both online and face‑to‑face group tuition for GCSE English Language (AQA), providing structured, supportive teaching that builds confidence and strengthens exam skills. Face‑to‑face tuition will take place in a community setting for Year 10 and Year 11 learners.

I also offer a limited number of 1:1 tuition spaces, including individual support for learners taking IGCSE English Language.
